A bit more about me

It all started when…

I was 10 years old and created a book full of inventions with advertisements. I ideated and sketched made up products like clear toasters and closet organizers. Despite not all of the inventions being a hit (the water whoopee cushion didn’t do so well in testing), it was the beginning of what became my continued passion. I have over 15 years experience at agencies and in-house brands in NYC and LA working on high profile clients such as: CBS, Taco Bell, Dole, Sony, Equinox, Coca Cola, and Ford and have a vast understanding of digital, print, video, experiential and social.

An original east coaster, I now reside in Santa Monica. I enjoy the warm weather, and particularly avoiding hurricanes and blizzards. I’ve found the west coast to provide a variety of new activities such as hiking and paddle boarding. During my free time I like nothing better than traveling, watching films, and experiencing those with great food and company.

Take a look around my work and shoot me a note. I’d love to hear from you.

Cheers,
Kate

Just a few accolades.

“An all-star creative talent, Kate brings tons of creativity and enthusiasm to every project. She's knowledgable, easy-going and incredibly hard-working. Her work ethic is truly admirable and she has no qualms about picking up a project, completely owning it and then seeing it through to fruition. To be able to have that kind of trust in a collaborator is invaluable. Aside from the everyday work schedule, Kate also is one of the kindest people you will ever meet.”

-Christopher Ayres
Executive Creative Director at Taco Bell

“I’ve had the pleasure to work with Kate in many capacities, and highly recommend her to tackle your next big challenge. She is a unique and multi-faceted professional. Kate has a strong creative and design background and she can seamlessly switch into a ‘left brain’ role to lead projects and build client relationships. She is a lightning-fast learner, proactive problem solver, and always has a positive attitude and sense of humor even in critical, high stress situations. And, above all else, she is a thoughtful, kind person that you’ll enjoy being with in and out of the office.”

-Kristin Morgan Anderson
Creative Operations at Greenfield Labs, Ford Motor Company

“Kate is a great creative, but you should be able to ascertain that from the numerous other recommendations on her LinkedIn profile, or even better, by asking to look at some of her work. Because of this I wanted to share a currently unhighlighted aspect of Kate's contribution as an employee and team member: Kate cares, and that is awesome. Yes, she cares about her work, doing a great job, and making clients happy. She also cares that other people she is working with have the tools that they need, are supported even if she has to take on an unfair share of the load, and that those around her are happy, pure and simple. We all know the saying, "all ships rise with the tides," but I don't think we often recognize the catalyst(s) that cause this to happen. Kate, through her selfless desire to contribute to success, is one of those catalysts.”

“Kate’s leadership and dedication were indispensable during my tenure at theAudience. She was insightful and helped me define many of our campaigns’ messaging and creative directions. She was an excellent project manager who took initiatives to implement smooth workflow between the Strategy and Creative teams—a must-have in a hectic, start-up environment. Most importantly, she demonstrated true leadership by raising her hands and offering to handle some of my work even though it wasn’t a part of her job description. Her dedication to quality work, professionalism, and proactiveness are top-notch, and I truly appreciate our time together at theAudience.”
